Report about the activity 5

In this activity, we have learn a lot of things about the written emails, the professor told us some tips that we must follow if we want to give a good image to our receivers, I already knew how to write a polite email, but with that lesson, I was taught some things that are not very visual, but they are very important. A thing that I didn´t know before the activity was a button called Bcc, Cco in Spanish,(I didn´t even noticed the button) and it´s a button that lets us to not to show to who else are we sending the message, this is not only very useful, it´s essential when we want to communicate something to many people, it´s not very well regarded actually that every receiver could see to who else do you have send the email. These kind of things that we learn each day are going to help us, each one a bit more, to become great engineers.

PD: I have been trying to add some images to the post, like where are all the buttons that I´ve mention before, but I had so many trouble with the images that I had to give up, apologies.

Some ways to develop our communication skills. Part 1

I bring to you some tips to improve our communication skills, as communicate in a proper way it´s going to be essential in our professional careers, we need to improve as much as we can in this field. This is going to be the first part of four posts that will improve our communication skills.
Today we are going to talk about learning and understanding the very principals of communication skills:
-The first thing you need to know it´s to be aware of the meaning of communication, communication is the process we use to share a message with a receiver (the listener), and we use different methods to transfer that message, as written words, different gestures or cues, spoken words, etc.
-Now that you know what communication means, you have to know that your self-confidence it´s very important, be confident in knowing that you can make worthy contributions to the conversation. Those who are afraid to not contribute to the conversation should not be afraid any more, what it´s not important to a person may be for another one! The courage you must have to say what you think it´s essential.
-Finally, and obviously, the most important thing of all, practise. New skills take time to refine, but each timer you use communication skills, you open yourself to opportunities and future partnerships.

More tips the next week! See you!

THE IMPORTANCE OF BODY LANGUAGE

Today, I want to tell you about the importance of the non-verbal language when communicating, as this language it´s much more accurate in order to know what the person really thinks, than the words he could use, because because gestures are much more unintended than words. But obviously, the non-verbal language can be trained in order to show to the listeners important qualities as reliability, seriousness, sincerity, talent, and one of the most important qualities, self-confidence. Learning diverse skills can give us a job in the future, but also helps if we want to sell any product to a company.
Here it´s an example of how important it is the body language, paying attention to someone´s body language can help us discern when someone is not telling us the truth. Often a person who is not telling the truth will not want to make eye contact. However, there are also other signs of lying. A person who is not telling the whole truth may clear their throat, change their pitch as if to try and sway your attention away from their lie so they may have time to think up a valid answer. Additionally, foot tapping, putting their hand to their face, turning away or raising their shoulders may all be indicators that they are uncomfortable with the conversation because they are not telling the truth.
Hope you like it and it was useful!
